School Geography Trip to the Yorkshire Dales

A school geography trip to the Yorkshire Dales provides an opportunity to experience the dramatic limestone scenery of the UK and learn more about geological timescales.

Give your students the opportunity to explore caves, caverns, mud pools, streams, waterfalls, and plenty of other distinctive landscapes affected by hydrology in the surrounding area.

You’ll also be able to study coastal landscapes; the ecosystems within these areas of natural beauty; rocks, weathering and soils, and have plenty of opportunities for using and applying fieldwork skills.
