School ski trips to Switzerland

Switzerland has a quieter rhythm than many Alpine destinations. Its resorts grew up around mountain villages rather than being built from scratch (think traditional chalets, excellent mountain restaurants and breathtaking scenery). The pistes are beautifully groomed, the atmosphere feels calm and Swiss service is as efficient as you’d expect.

Then there’s the altitude. Switzerland is home to Europe’s largest glaciers and more peaks over 4,000m than anywhere else on the continent, helping many resorts hold onto reliable snow. The skiing is varied too (gentle terrain for beginners, with plenty to keep more confident students challenged).
