A school music tour to Croatia will allow your ensemble the unforgettable experience of touring this spectacular country, where Central Europe and the Mediterranean collide. You’ll be based in Opatija, a lovely coastal town on the Istrian Peninsula. This area is home to the unique Istrian scale, and folk music plays an important part in the local culture. A tourist hotspot, your ensemble will have the opportunity to perform to mixed audiences of international tourists and locals in beautiful churches, busy town squares and scenic sea promenades.

Poreč is a wonderful mix of Romanesque and Venetian architecture. On Istria’s western coast, this ancient city is almost 2,000 years old, and is a popular tourist destination.

An ancient city, Vrsar is now famous for its spectacular seafront promenades. These allow visitors and locals alike to stroll from the elegant marina, to the historic fishing harbour and, of course, the beautiful beaches.
