School ski trips to Bulgaria offer exceptional value for money.
In fact, school ski trips to Bulgaria often work out much less expensive than those to many of the better known destinations in the Alps – but the facilities and ski tuition are still of a high standard. Plus, you’ll be giving your students the opportunity to experience Eastern Europe.
Although less expensive than many other European ski destinations, Bulgaria certainly doesn’t scrimp on scenery. Enchanting pine forests covered in a blanket of snow and traditional Bulgarian towns make this a charming winter wonderland that your students are certain to fall in love with.
The Bulgarian ski season is long, running from December to April, with Bansko’s generally stretching into May.
The slopes are best suited to beginners and intermediates – making them perfect for school ski holidays. Don’t worry if you do have more advanced skiers in your group though – there are still plenty of challenges to keep them occupied too.
The Bulgarian ski schools have an excellent reputation, with many of the instructors speaking good English.
And this, plus the fact that ski hire, lift passes and tuition are all great value for money makes Bulgaria a hidden gem for those donning a pair of skis, or a snowboard, for the very first time.
