School ski trips to Bulgaria

Bulgaria keeps the cost of a school ski trip manageable without cutting back on the essentials. Lift passes, equipment hire and tuition offer excellent value; the facilities are good and the slopes suit beginners and intermediates particularly well. More experienced skiers will still find plenty to keep them busy.

The season usually runs from December to April (often into May in Bansko), and many instructors speak good English. Beyond the skiing, snow-covered pine forests, traditional towns and a first taste of Eastern Europe give the trip a character all its own.
