Montreux Jazz Festival

Montreux is only a short journey away from Evian, where your band will be able to participate in the famous Montreux Jazz Festival.The concert will take place on a professional stage in one of the parks. You will be able to watch other professional concerts and enjoy the atmosphere.

Bands can perform by the Musical Fountain overlooking the lake. The concert will be part of the local summer festival. Alternatively, choirs can sing in the well-located church ofNotre DameinEvian.

Only an hour away is this beautiful town where you will be able to combine a concert in the main town square with a visit to the fantastic " Mer de Glace" ice caves.

Located on the Henri-Buet Esplanade in the Les Mouettes port, this fountain offers onlookers a spectacle of water jets set to various musical scores.

Accommodation

Offering spectacular views across Lake Geneva from its south bank, this accommodation makes for a great base from which to explore the French Alps. It is easy to explore both France and Switzerland from here, with the lovely alpine towns of Chamonix and Annecy also both within easy reach. The hotel offers a total of 186 beds, in rooms sleeping 1-4, all with private shower and WC. 6 of these rooms offer disabled access. There is both an on-site restaurant and a bar with a lovely terrace offering panoramic views. The Aigulille du Midi is the highest alpine lift system in Europe. Starting at 1,030 metres at the valley bottom, the cable car takes you 3,842 metres, to “the roof-top of the world”.

Mer de Glace

The glacier attracts more than a million visitors every year. In 1909, the first mountain railway was built taking visitors to the glacier.In 1946, a tunnel and grotto were carved into the ice to provide a gallery penetrating to the core of the glacier and permitting an insight of this fascinating natural phenomenon.
