What is a Spanish culture school trip?

These Spanish school trips will enable your students to use their Spanish skills to explore one of Spain’s most beautiful, exciting cities, such as Barcelona, Madrid, Granada or Valencia, among others.

A wide range of cultural activities designed to encourage them to use their Spanish, alongside plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, will ensure that your students return home with a greater intercultural understanding and improved confidence in their Spanish skills.

For your students, this is the perfect introduction to Spain, the Spanish language and culture and, in fact, all things Spanish!

Spanish culture school trips to Spain

We can arrange Spanish culture school trips all over Spain, from Barcelona in the north to Andalusia in the south!

For a great overview of Spanish history and culture, Madrid is hard to beat. The Spanish capital is famous for its impressive art museums, spectacular architecture and great variety of cultural experiences.

Or perhaps you’d prefer to head to Barcelona, the vibrant Catalan capital that offers a different experience of Spain, but one that will leave your students feeling excited. This beautiful city is packed full of unique architecture, incredible food and a fantastic mix of city and beach life that inspires all who come here. And if you like the city and beach vibe, but want to try somewhere a little different, Valencia is always a great choice.

For a real hidden gem, head to Cantabria, in the heart of ‘Green Spain’! Explore the incredibly lush landscape, or head to the cultural delights of Santander, Santillana del Mar or Bilbao.

If it’s rich cultural experiences you’re looking for though, you’d be hard pressed to beat Andalusia! The historic cities of Granada, Malaga, Seville and Cordoba all offer a glimpse into Spain’s history, from the Moors to the Reconquista - you’ll still see the Muslim influence in some of the architecture. And, of course, this is where flamenco was born, so a dance lesson or flamenco show is not to be missed!

Why arrange a Spanish culture school trip?

Introduce them to all things Spanish

Your Spanish culture school trip will be an unforgettable introduction to Spain and the Spanish language and culture for your students. They’ll love hearing the music, tasting the food and speaking to the people.

They may or may not have visited before on holiday, but your Spanish school trip will see them using their Spanish language skills to access deeper cultural experiences.

This is an opportunity not only to encourage their confidence in their Spanish language skills, but also to encourage their passion for the culture and for the language. You’ll certainly see engagement improve when you get back to the classroom and that will be because your students better understand the joy of learning Spanish.

Develop their intercultural understanding

As well as improving their Spanish language skills, your Spanish culture school trip to Spain will see your students explore another culture like they’ve never had the opportunity to before. During your time in Spain, they’ll be totally immersed in the culture, and they’ll use their language skills to delve even deeper than would otherwise be possible.

These are unforgettable experiences that will remain with your students and will teach them the joy of discovering new cultures. You’ll spark a passion for travel and for exploring the cultures of others that will make your students better global citizens and more empathetic to people from different countries and cultures.

In short, you’ll help your students to develop their intercultural understanding and ability to forge connections with others from different cultures.

Enjoy the trip as much as your students

Originally founded by former teachers, we understand the value of Spanish school trips and how to make them successful.

Your trip will be completely tailor made, to ensure that it meets your specific requirements and learning objectives. And we’ll be on hand throughout the process to answer any questions you have.

In fact, we’ll be with you every step of the way, from now until you return home at the end of your trip. While abroad, you’ll be able to reach us with just one phone call, at any time of the day or night. And, with this comprehensive level of support while you’re away, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy immersing yourself in Spanish as much as your students.
