Download this classroom poster to celebrate the legendary composer’s 250th anniversary!
Born in Bonn in December 1770, Ludwig van Beethoven is considered to be one of the greatest composers of all time and a key figure in the transition from the Classical to the Romantic period.
His story is one of resilience and overcoming adversity too – an inspiring message for your students. He composed some of his most admired works after going almost completely deaf, forcing him to give up performing music himself.
One of our most popular school music tour destinations, the Rhineland, offers groups the opportunity to learn more about the composer, with the option to visit his childhood home in Bonn, or even soak up the atmosphere at Beethovenfest – an annual celebration of his music!
If you’re interested in arranging a school music tour to the Rhineland, please don’t hesitate to contact us for further information, or to request a tailor-made quote.
