Discover the context

Your politics school trip will help your students to better understand the social and cultural contexts of the political history they’re studying.

For example, on a school trip to Atlanta, your students will learn more about the realities of segregation. They’ll explore what life was like for black people in Georgia and Alabama in the 19th and 20th centuries and they’ll discover the personal stories of some of they key figures in the civil rights movement.

They’ll also learn more about how the foundations of the European Union partly lay in the desire for European unity in the wake of two devastating world wars that started in Europe.
