With Lake Windermere as their playground, students will try everything from stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and sailing to the exhilarating challenge of ghyll scrambling, building confidence, resilience and new skills along the way.
Giant SUP challenges and an evening around the campfire bring the group together, while visits to Kendal and Windermere provide time to experience the Lakes beyond the activities.
It's three days of fresh air, big challenges, plenty of laughs and memories your students will share long after they get home.

Day 1
Morning
Meet at school in the early morning before boarding your private coach and beginning the journey north to the beautiful Lake District.
Arrive in Kendal and enjoy a couple of hours exploring this historic market town at your own pace, with time to browse the shops, discover its characterful streets and perhaps pick up some of the town's famous Kendal mint cake.
Afternoon
Test your balance with an exciting stand-up paddleboarding session, learning the basics of paddling, steering and balance before heading out to explore the beautiful bays of Windermere.
Whether standing tall, paddling from your knees or making an unexpected splash, it's a fantastic way to build confidence on the water.
Evening
Enjoy your evening meal at the accommodation after an action-packed first afternoon.
Unpack, settle into your rooms and relax with your group ahead of another day of Lake District adventure.
Day 2
Morning
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before getting ready for an exhilarating morning of adventure.
Take on a ghyll scrambling experience, journeying through one of the Lake District's natural mountain streams as you scramble over rocks, wade through flowing water and tackle waterfalls and natural obstacles along the way.
Afternoon
Return to your accommodation for lunch and a chance to refuel before the afternoon's activities.
Take to the water for an exciting kayaking session, learning essential paddling and boat-control skills before putting them into practice out on the lake.
Evening
Return to your accommodation and enjoy a well-earned evening meal.
Gather around the campfire for a memorable final activity of the day. Working in teams, create your own sketch, song or short play before taking centre stage and performing for the rest of the group - a fun way to build confidence, encourage creativity and share plenty of laughs around the fire.
Day 3
Morning
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before heading out for your final morning of adventure.
Jump aboard the centre's giant inflatable paddleboards for SUP Splash!
Work together to paddle, balance and steer your board while taking on games and challenges on the waters of Windermere - expect plenty of teamwork, laughter and more than a few splashes along the way.
Then, enjoy a hands-on sailing session aboard a stable sailing boat with an instructor on board. Work together to learn the basics of controlling and sailing the boat, developing communication and teamwork while enjoying the spectacular Lake District scenery from the water.
Afternoon
Return to the accommodation for lunch, before checking out and saying goodbye to the staff at the adventure centre.
Depending on your journey time, head into Windermere for a couple of hours of free time to explore this popular Lake District town, browse the shops, and enjoy the atmosphere before heading home.
Evening
Board your private coach and begin the journey back to school, arriving later in the evening after three packed days of challenges, teamwork and adventure in the Lake District.
Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in school sports tours and will know the destination really well too. They’ll work with you to create a tour to suit your group’s needs and meet your tour objectives.
The next step is to get your tour approved and then get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. Here you’ll find loads of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the planning process.
Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start working on the finer details. They’ll make sure your itinerary makes the most of your time and they’ll take on most of the admin tasks for your tour (making the whole process a lot less stressful for you).
While you’re out on tour, we’ll be at the end of the phone 24 hours a day to provide support should you need it. We’ll also send you a final info pack before you go and you’ll be able to access all your tour documents via the free Vamoos app.
When you return from your sports tour, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, which helps us continue to improve the service we offer. And we can start planning your next tour too, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and so it’s less stressful for you).
