A school rugby tour to Barcelona combines sport, sun, sea and sand! Football may be the biggest sport in Catalonia, but the sporty Catalans are pretty keen on rugby too. There’s plenty of local opposition just waiting to challenge your team!
Barcelona is a city that lives for sport, so your students will feel right at home here. They’ll love the experience of playing rugby and discovering the Spanish and Catalan cultures at the same time.
When you’re not playing rugby, you’ll have the chance to visit the iconic Nou Camp, get your adrenaline fix at Port Aventura and sample some delicious tapas. Make sure you take some time to enjoy the area’s spectacular beaches, and even try your hand at some watersports!

Fantastic country to visit, the rugby is of a very high standard as long as you play an age grade up. Facilities were great, particularly at Trinity College and the Racecourse ground, and the people are so accommodating.– The Manchester Grammar School
