School Outdoor Adventure Tour to the Midlands
Start the trip racing downhill with tubing, tobogganing and the Viper Slide at Swadlinecote Snowsports Centre, before spending a full day taking on the world-famous rides and rollercoasters of Alton Towers. Finish the adventure at CONKERS, where pupils can get outdoors, challenge themselves and work together through archery, canoeing, high ropes, climbing and the infamous Barefoot Walk.
And the itinerary can be completely tailored to your group. Swap activities or extend your stay to explore more of what the Midlands and Derbyshire have to offer, with visits to Warwick Castle, Chatsworth House, the Peak District or the Heights of Abraham all available to build a tour that suits your pupils.

Day 1
Morning
Meet at school in the early morning.
Board your private coach and being the journey to the Midlands.
Afternoon
Arrive at Swadlinecote Snowsports Centre and spend the afternoon hurtling downhill as you enjoy tubing, tobogganing and use of the centre's 'Viper Slide'.
Evening
Check in to your accommodation and make yourselves at home.
Enjoy your evening meal at a local restaurant.
Day 2
Morning
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation.
Head to Alton Towers for the day. Start off on the eastside of the park with Spinball Whizzer, Oblivion and Smiler.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, continue the rollercoaster rampage with Wickerman, Thirteen, Rita and Nemesis.
Evening
Enjoy your evening meal at a local restaurant.
Day 3
Morning
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation and check out.
Head to CONKERS for some outdoor activity fun, starting with the infamous Bare Foot Walk.
Clean off your feet and work up a sweat as you traverse the activity trail, complete with obstacles to challenge you.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, break down in to smaller groups and rotate between four activities (everyone will have the chance to enjoy each activity) - archery, high ropes, kanu and climbing wall.
After a busy day, board your private coach and relax on the journey home.
