School Netball Tour to Malta

Halsbury Sticker

When thinking about school netball tour destinations, Malta may not be the first place that leaps to mind. However, the sport is popular here, so there’s plenty of good opposition. This, coupled with the fantastic year-round weather, makes a school netball tour to Malta an easy choice.

This beautiful country lies in the heart of the Mediterranean and is just 3 hours' flight from the UK. The sporting facilities here are excellent and you’ll receive a warm and friendly welcome from the locals.

When you’re not on the netball court, why not try your hand at some adventure sports? Take your pick from zip lining, abseiling, kayaking and rock climbing. We’d also recommend taking some time to relax on the beach – Malta boasts some of the most spectacular in the Med!

Don’t miss the lovely Barrakka Gardens with their breathtaking panoramic view of the Grand Harbour. On the tour, you’ll also visit Malta 5D, to learn more about the country’s history.

Beach Games

With Malta’s many beautiful beaches, it would be a shame not to spend some time on them! Your sporty group can expend any pent up energy by getting stuck into some beach-based games, such as volleyball, ‘Whacky Races’ and ‘Water Transporter’. All equipment will be provided.

Treasure Hunt and Zip Line

Discover the beauty of Malta on a treasure hunt against the clock. Later, you’ll get to see the country from a different point of view when you have a go at zip lining! Your team will receive a full safety briefing before the activity.

Abseiling and Archery

Malta’s warm climate and ever-present sunshine make it the ideal location to try your hand at abseiling! Of course, you’ll receive a full safety briefing before you’re let loose on the cliffs! End the day with a more sedate but no less thrilling activity by having a go at archery.
