School Football Tour to Milan

Milan is one of Northern Italy's powerhouses and, as well as being an important centre for fashion, business and banking, it's also home to two of the country's biggest clubs - AC and Inter Milan.

Famously, they share the iconic San Siro Stadium - which will be one of your first stops on this tour. Not only will you explore this and Milan's other impressive sights (like the Duomo, Sforza Castle and Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II), but you'll also have the chance to explore the sights of the incredible floating city of Venice (including a serene gondola ride and a visit to the unmissable Doge's Palace).

Your base will be the tranquil Veronello Resort, nestled on the hills overlooking picturesque Lake Garda. This fantastic resort specialises in hosting sports groups and you'll be able to hold self-led training sessions here, before taking the opportunity to showcase your skills and enjoy a little friendly competition from local opposition.

Veronello Resort

The Veronello Resort is the perfect base for your school sports tour. Located on the hills overlooking Lake Garda, the resort specialises in hosting sports teams of all types and its facilities really are exceptional.

To start with, they have two incredible outdoor pools surrounded by beautiful gardens, as well as loads of relaxing seating areas and even a barbecue area - all of which is perfect for relaxing after a day of sports and sightseeing.

You'll also be able to hold self-led training sessions here, as they have 2 natural grass pitches, 1 synthetic grass pitch and 2 synthetic 5-a-side pitches, as well as a warm-up area and changing rooms.

There are also a couple of meeting rooms if you want to run activities like quizzes or talent shows in the evenings.

The restaurant serves up nutritional meals designed to fuel athletes. And all guestrooms boast en-suite bathroom facilities, with students usually in quadruples with bunk beds and accompanying staff in twins (with some singles also available). Plus, of course, there's free WiFi throughout.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start working on the finer details. They’ll make sure your itinerary makes the most of your time and they’ll take on most of the admin tasks for your tour (making the whole process a lot less stressful for you).

Support while you’re away
