Nestled high up in the Spanish Pyrenees the resort of Port del Comte is one of our most exciting recent finds. The views in this part of the Pyrenees are spectacular and cannot fail to impress. The resort is a safe, self-contained area that will ensure your group enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled experience with plenty to do both on and off the slopes. There is a great snow tubing park, dog sledding, snow shoeing, night skiing and even a local bird sanctuary that can organise a bird of prey visit!

The 50km of piste offers both tree lined and wide open pistes. There's an even split of beginner, intermediate and advanced skiing. This resort is a real gem with virtually no queues during mid week (even during the normally busy Feb half term!) so much more of your group's time on the slopes is spent skiing than waiting in line. The resort is high altitude with the base starting at 1700m and rising to 2400m so snow is virtually guaranteed from early December through to mid April.

Centre Vacances Mirador

The Centre Vacances Mirador benefits from being the closest accommodation to the ski school meeting point just 20m, snow tubing section and the nursery slopes and you can ski right up to the front door! The centre has great facilities 2 large multi functional rooms with pool tables, table football and table tennis and can be used for disco and a swimming pool. There is also two small rooms that can be used as teachers lounges and there is free WifI throughout the hotel. Rooms are multi-bedded for students with staff in twins all of which have private ensuite bathrooms.Meals are buffet style with hot lunch taken at the hotel.

Hotel Golf Natura

This great little 3* sole occupancy hotel is a really good quality accommodation perfect for schools wanting a small family run property. The hotel is about 500m from the nearest ski lift or 5 minute shuttle ride around to the ski school meeting point. The hotel has its own mini bus for free transfers. It has 13 rooms for around 60 people from 2 - 6 bedded family rooms all of which are ensuite with TV and hairdryers. There is a good sized restaurant that can be used in the evenings, a bar and a lounge with pool table.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
