Ski trip to Boi Taull

Halsbury Sticker

When other resorts are struggling for snow, those in the know head up to this Boi Taull, the highest altitude ski resort in the Pyrenees. The skiing begins at 2000m (so already above the tree line!) and goes up to 2751m, making this an ideal choice for those that want the confidence and security of knowing there will definitely be plenty of white stuff. The base lodge at the bottom of the pistes has everything from ski hire, ski school and self-service restaurants, and all our groups receive a hot lunch and ski storage here as standard. The self-contained resort is purpose-built to a very high standard and is set just a few kilometres down the valley from the ski area. There are plenty of amenities including a supermarket, bars, restaurants, arcade with games machines, pool tables, table football. And there are loads of apres-ski activities too, including bumboarding, snow shoeing, ice skating, karaoke, disco, pizza night and quiz night, to name but a few.

Skiing in Boi Taull

The high-altitude skiing this resort offers means that virtually all the pistes are open all season through. The ski area is one large bowl with all runs leading back to the base lodge so it's impossible for anyone to get lost. There's 50km of marked piste, which isn't as much as some of the other resorts that we offer. However, you could virtually double that, as all the areas in between the pistes are safe and perfectly skiable. There's a really good range of pistes, from gentle greens through to steep blacks so no matter what your group's ability level there will plenty for them to enjoy. Lift queues are non-existent at Boi Taull, even at February half term, meaning you'll spend far more time skiing than waiting in line at this resort. Skis are kept at the base station (where hot lunches are also provided), so there's no need to take them back to the hotel. Free shuttles are provided for those without transportation to and from the hotels to the ski area.

every step of the way

Creating your perfect ski trip

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After
your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
