A purpose-built resort, Sansicario’s site was chosen for its snow security and good slopes. A monorail and covered walkways will help you navigate the resort in comfort and the village itself is traffic-free, making it a safe choice for school groups.

When you ski in Sansicario, you’ll enjoy long, scenic motorways and challenging reds that carry you all the way back to the village. And, of course, the very best thing about a school ski holiday to Sansicario is that it gives you access to the Milky Way’s 400km of skiing. You can explore Sauze d’Oulx, with its high bowl and long, sun-drenched intermediate runs. Or Sestriere, with its huge variety of skiing and World Cup pedigree. Olympic Centre

We are delighted to be able to offer this great 3* hotel built specifically for the Olympic Games in 2006. The rooms are for 4 - 6 students with staff in twins and triples. All rooms have en suite facilities and have a TV and telephone. The hotel also offers doorstop skiing (snow conditions permitting) with a blue run leading down to the hotel door.One of the key selling points of this hotel is the in-house ski hire shop allowing personalised fittings and corrections throughout the week. There is also a magic carpet lift and nursery area right outside the hotel, which is ideal for beginners.Facilities also include a lovely bar area overlooking the slopes, a large dining area (meals are served buffet style), spacious communal areas, games area with table tennis and table football and an in-house disco.

San Sicario Majestic

The Sansicario Majestic hotel is located in Sansicario Alto, so transfers to the ski slopes take just 5 minutes. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool, a gym and a spa, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. Each guestroom boasts private en-suite bathroom facilities and satellite TV. A buffet-style breakfast will set your students up for the day!

Creating your perfect ski trip

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).

The Olympic Centre in Sansicario has several meeting rooms that can be booked and a cafe/bar. Ski fit is all done on-site and was exceptional. We had 36 students and 6 staff sorted within 40 minutes - amazing service in this area. At half-term we skied to and from the door, as the Olympic Centre is next to the slope. We had an excellent week and are planning on going back again next year.
