Ski trip to Monterosa

Halsbury Sticker

Choose a school ski trip to Monterosa and give your students the unforgettable experience of skiing Western Europe’s second highest mountain. Straddling the border between Switzerland and Italy, the views from the resorts’ restaurant terraces are worth the trip alone. The three main resorts in the area – Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagne – sit in each of the three valleys at the foot of the mountain. All three are ‘typical’ rustic Italian alpine villages, offering warm welcomes, great food and safe bases from which to explore this magnificent mountain.

Skiing in Monterosa

Monterosa, one of the world’s largest ski areas, has long been on the radar of those in the know and local Italians, but is still relatively unknown among the mass market. So, during the week, your students can enjoy learning to ski on uncrowded slopes. Snow is very reliable and the piste grooming is exceptional. The resort offers lovely long runs almost as standard. Best for intermediates, there are also some great nursery runs here for beginners and some challenging blacks for the experts, as well as a snowpark, and it’s this variety that makes it perfect for a school ski trip to Italy.

every step of the way

Creating your perfect ski trip

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.
