Skiing in Madesimo

This high-altitude resort remains snow-sure from late November to spring and, just in case Mother Nature is a little difficult, the resort also has excellent snow-making equipment covering the main pistes. Beginners will love taking to the pistes for the first time here, where the lack of crowds means they can take it at their own pace. And intermediates will love the sheer variety of runs waiting for them here. There’s also some great skiing for the more advanced skiers, including the mighty Canalone – a nearly 3km black that’s reputed to be one of the most beautiful in Italy, if not Europe as a whole. Plus, with the great terrain park and powder fields, snowboarders will be happy too.

The Hotel Arlecchino is in an ideal doorstep location just steps away from the towns ski runs, and opposite the Arlecchino and Montalto cable cars. The traditionally decorated restaurant offers local and mountain cuisine, and a rich buffet breakfast and hot lunches are available daily.The hotel also features en suite accommodation, in house ski storage facilities and an indoor pool. As well as plenty of space for your evening activities, including a karaoke area, disco and a games room. WIFI is also available throughout the building.

Creating your perfect ski trip

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
