The charming resort of Foppolo is located 1500m above sea level at the top of the Brembane Valley and is full of character. San Simone, 8km away, is a smaller, purpose-built complex, where the accommodation offers doorstep skiing. The combination of the two mean that visiting groups are able to experience the best of both worlds. There are plenty of things to do after a long day on the piste with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. There is even a natural ice skating rink! These resorts are continuously improving access to the mountain with new ski lifts opening every year. School groups will enjoy the safe, friendly atmosphere of the resort.

These well-known Italian resorts are set in a stunningly beautiful environment with 60km of downhill slopes reaching 2200m. They are suited to all levels of ability with wide, open nursery slopes for the beginners and plenty of intermediate and advanced runs for the more experienced skier. There is even a snowpark for snowboarders to practise their jumps! With skiing above 2000m and almost half the resort covered by snow cannons, the conditions are always reliable throughout the season.

Hotel La Sponda
The Hotel La Sponda has fifteen rooms with a total capacity of forty-eight people. Bedrooms have between one and six beds, and some rooms have bunk beds. All of the rooms have private facilities including a telephone, most have showers and some have baths. Many of the rooms will have a balcony and a television. The Hotel La Sponda also has a six bedded apartment annexe with en-suite facilities. There is a separate restaurant for the hotel, which has a reputation for excellent cuisine.

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.
Launching your trip to parents and students
The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.
After you’ve booked
Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).
Support while you’re away
While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.
After your trip
When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
