French culture school trips to France

We can arrange French culture school trips all over France, from the Opal Coast in the north to Nice in the south. We can take you wherever you want to go!

Paris is, of course, one of our most popular destinations for French culture trips, as there’s so much to see and do in the French capital. You can visit some of Paris’ most iconic sights, such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, or you can focus on a particular aspect of the culture, such as the food, art or history.

Your itinerary will be completely tailor made, so we’ll ensure that your trip suits your group and meets your specific learning objectives.

If you’re looking for an alternative to Paris, Nice is a great option. There’s still plenty to explore here but the pace of life is much more relaxed, with a Mediterranean flavour. Or you could head to the Loire, to explore this spectacular valley and its famous châteaux. And don’t forget historic Normandy, which is a great option if you have a group of gourmands!

The Opal Coast is a real favourite among our groups and still somewhat of a hidden gem. Most tourists speed through the Opal Coast on the way to Paris, but this region boasts spectacular scenery and plenty of culture to immerse your students in. We can arrange some really exciting cultural experiences here and with short journey times by coach, this is an easy and cost-effective option for school groups.

And don’t forget, you can also include a visit to a theme park, such as Disneyland® Paris, Futuroscope or Parc Astérix. This always adds a really exciting element to your trip and ensures that it’s one your students will never forget.

Why arrange a French culture school trip?

Introduce them to all things French

Our French culture school trips are the perfect introduction to France and French culture. The opportunity to use their French skills to explore this beautiful country and its rich culture is one that will stay with your students forever.

This is a great way to spark an interest in French, and in foreign languages in general. Your students will see that the ability to speak to locals in their own language opens up exciting cultural experiences that just aren’t otherwise possible.

And, at the end of the day, as linguists, we all know that the best way to learn French is to visit France!

Develop their intercultural understanding

Your French culture school trip will certainly boost your students’ interest in French and will give their skills and confidence a boost too. But outside of the academic benefits, it will help to broaden their horizons and develop their intercultural understanding, making them better global citizens.

France is one of our closest neighbours and yet there are many differences between French and British culture. Giving your students the opportunity to not only experience this, but appreciate the beauty in these differences, will help them to see that the world’s rich tapestry of cultures is something to be celebrated.

They’ll understand that when they travel to a foreign country, making sure that they’re sympathetic to the culture will enrich their own experience. And they’ll appreciate that when they meet people of different cultures here in the UK that learning about those cultures and being sympathetic to them will help them to develop deeper connections with those people, enriching their own experience by showing kindness to others.

Enjoy the trip as much as your students

Originally founded by former teachers, we understand the value of French school trips and how to make them successful.
