Your Spanish school trip to Andalusia will give your students the opportunity to experience historic cities, vibrant culture and spectacular beaches, all while using their Spanish skills to interact with native speakers on an everyday basis!
Andalusia is the only European region with both Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts and it is, rightly so, famous for its many beautiful beaches and seaside resorts. But it is also a region with a fascinating history and rich culture. The last stronghold of the Moors who ruled Spain longer than the Romans, you’ll find evidence of their influence in the architecture and culture of the region.
You can choose to visit a number of vibrant cities including Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. Each has its own unique character, but all are packed full of exciting cultural experiences for your students to enjoy, whether that’s tasting some of the incredible local cuisine, or enjoying a flamenco performance right here in the region where the art form was born.
A Spanish school trip to Andalusia is a fantastic option for Key Stage 3 groups who will be able to use this opportunity to expand their vocabulary around a number of themes, from exploring the town to eating out and cultural traditions.
This is also a fantastic choice for GCSE groups who can also use this opportunity to reinforce their vocabulary around a number of themes, improving their confidence in using Spanish in conversation with native speakers. This is also the perfect opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of Spanish culture and identity.
A-level students can also benefit hugely from a Spanish school trip to Andalusia. Here they will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of a variety of aspects of Spanish-speaking society. And they can also deepen their understanding of various topics, from political life in Spain to Spanish regional identity.
