For the more adventurous, why not see physics in action with a day out at the nearby Walibi World or De Efteling Theme Parks? And you could also choose to make your trip cross-curricular by joining forces with your school's history, art or religious studies departments.

Meininger Amsterdam City West

The Meininger Amsterdam City West is located in Sloterdijk, part of the Westpoort area of Amsterdam. From the nearby Sloterdijk train station, it's just one stop to Central Station and all of Amsterdam's main attractions, and 10 minutes to Schiphol Airport. The hotel boasts fantastic facilities including a 24-hour reception, a lounge, a games zone and free WiFi throughout. Students will stay in shared rooms and dormitory-style rooms with teachers in singles or twins. All guestrooms have private bathroom facilities. And a healthy buffet breakfast will ensure your group are ready for a day spent exploring the Dutch capital!

Stayokay Amsterdam Oost

The hostel is located to the east of the city centre in a quiet, typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. Amsterdam’s historic centre is less than 15 minutes away by bike or tram.Stayokay Amsterdam Oost is housed in an amazing building: a former school dating from around 1900. Visitors can enjoy the ultra-modern facilities in classical settings. The hostel is ideally suited to accommodate (large) groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building. The bedrooms are all spacious, and ensuite. All rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet. Stayokay has its own café/restaurant and also shares the building with a cinema and theatre – a truly fantastic entertainment combination!

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark

This youth hostel, one of the most modern in Europe, has a great location in one of central Amsterdam’s major parks only a few minutes’ walk from the Rijksmuseum. Facilities include: restaurant, TV lounge, brasserie, internet stations, meeting room and games room with pool table. Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and then get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your itinerary makes the most of your time and they’ll take on most of the admin tasks for your trip (freeing you up to do what you do best – teach).

Support while you’re away

From lost property to properly lost, we’ll always be on the end of the phone while you’re out on the trip. You’ll get a final info pack before you go, as well as access to all your trip documents via the Vamoos app.
