Halal Food Technology School Trip to Marrakesh

Halsbury Sticker

A halal food technology school trip to Morocco offers your students the opportunity to learn more about one of the world’s favourite cuisines!

Moroccan cuisine is a wonderful mix of Berber, Andalusian, Mediterranean, French and sub-Saharan influences. Common features of Moroccan cuisine include Mediterranean fruits and vegetables, halal meat including beef, goat, mutton and lamb, seafood and, of course, plenty of spices!

Your students will love this opportunity to explore Moroccan culture through its cuisine. You’ll check out the lively street food scene at Djemaa el Fna square, and at a beautiful palm grove you’ll enjoy a special Moroccan cuisine workshop where you’ll learn more about some of the salads and cous cous dishes that make up such an important part of the Moroccan diet.
