With its healthy gastronomic reputation and close historical ties with Britain, it’s no surprise that Normandy is a great destination for groups studying food technology!

Your food technology school trip to Normandy will include a variety of visits that will provide your students with a better understanding of what French cuisine is all about. You can visit a snail farm, where your students will learn all about this delicacy and can even try one for themselves! You can visit cheese producers, chocolateries and biscuit factories. And your students willlove the opportunity to visit one of Normandy’s beautiful little market towns too!

And if you were thinking about making this trip cross-curricular, the great news is that Normandy offers some excellent options for French and history too!

Need help?

I love being able to provide school trips that give students the opportunity to experience different cultures and languages. When I was a student, I visited a town near Lyon for a French exchange trip. I found it really interesting living with a French family, I really enjoyed the trip and my language skills improved, as I quickly became more confident at speaking the language – Caroline Hill Tour Consultant

Don't take our word for it …

A must see and worthwhile trip for all students to experience one of history’s darkest moments. Krakow is a lovely city in its own right. — Bishop Rawstorne CE Academy , October 2018
