As one of the latest resorts to be added to our portfolio, Madonna di Campiglio is a fantastic choice for your school ski trip to Italy. This chic village is a safe base from which to ski the surrounding area and yet still offers a great variety of activities that will keep your students from getting bored.

Madonna di Campiglio is best known for its incredible location. Surrounded by the spectacular Brenta Dolomites, the scenery is simply stunning and makes for an incredible atmosphere. The valley is heavily wooded, adding to the atmosphere and the village’s buildings are all constructed in the traditional mountain Alpine style.

The village itself is compact and so perfect for school groups to enjoy safely, particularly as all through-traffic bypasses the centre and the nightlife is very typically Italian, so you do not need to worry about rowdy revellers partying into the small hours in Madonna di Campiglio.

Despite being one of the quieter resorts that we offer, Madonna di Campiglio offers some incredible skiing. Connected to both Pinzolo and Folgarida-Marilleva, the total ski area accessible from Madonna di Campiglio is actually rather sizeable, boasting around 150km of ski runs and 57 lifts, which are capable of carrying over 31,000 people per hour. There are numerous long, easy runs, which are perfect for building up confidence and, for the snowboarders among your group, there are also five snowboard parks.

This is a great choice of destination for those looking to enjoy a little sunshine on the slopes without any fear over snow conditions, thanks to the high altitude (reaching up to 2600m) and the fact that 95% of the pistes are covered by the resort’s snow-making facilities.

We understand that the accommodation is a very important aspect of your school ski trip to Italy, which is why we select the accommodation that we offer extremely carefully to ensure that it is suitable for our school groups. In Madonna di Campiglio, most of the accommodation we use is family-run, providing school groups with a safe and comfortable atmosphere. All the accommodation we use in this resort is close to the lifts and slopes too, so you can get skiing as soon as possible each day!

Here at Halsbury Ski, we are confident that school groups will love skiing in Madonna di Campiglio, where traditional Italy meets skiing adventure!
