Hot lunches on slopes
Ideal for learners
The charming resort of Cimone is not only the highest peak in the Northern Apennines (at 2,165m) but also the most popular ski resort in the area. Our groups normally stay in the nearby towns of Fanano, Sestola and Riolunato - all of which have plenty of amenities, including shops and cafes. There are also lots of nearby activities for après-ski fun to keep your group entertained all week. These include things like ice skating, swimming, pizza nights, discos and snowshoeing, to name but a few. And, as an additional bonus, hot lunches and ski storage are provided on the slopes, so that once you leave the hotel in the morning you won’t need to return until the end of the day.
Cimone has more than 60km skiable piste, made up of 31 slopes served by 21 lifts. It’s a fantastic resort for children learning to ski, as the slopes are pretty much empty mid-week, even during the busy February half term. You’ll find virtually no lift queues to worry about, so your students will be able to spend more time skiing compared with many other resorts. Our groups generally start their skiing from either the Passo del Lupo or the Le Polle ski areas, and the nursery slopes here are excellent. Progression slopes are in abundance, as the students’ confidence grows through the week, with some of the red runs naturally creating smiles from ear to ear. The ski school is friendly and patient, and they really get the best out of the students, as more time is spent concentrating on their technique and less on rushing to their next class, like at busier resorts.

museo ferrari - maranello
Recently renovated and now with more exhibition space, the Museo Ferrari in Maranello is not just a collection of the past, but an extraordinary experience of the world of Ferrari, where the historical cars and history are the pretext to understand and get to know today’s models, Formula 1 content and technology and the outlook towards the future.
This experience is offered via the cars, big screens and films, interactive tools such as the explanation of the Grand Prix pitwall and the possibility to turn into a Formula 1 driver on board of a semi-professional simulator. A vast range of publications and material from the present and the past tell the story of the Brand.
The museum is open all year except on Christmas Day and New Year. It offers a Café , where visitors can taste the regional products loved by Enzo Ferrari.
Next to the space for the permanent shows, new and important exhibitions are shown in vast areas of the museum, covering current themes and the important moments from Ferrari’s past : an exceptional experience, confirmed by over 250,000 visitors every year at the official Museo Ferrari in Maranello.
The Ferrari Museum in Maranello is now offering its visitors an exclusive guided bus tour inside the Fiorano test-track proving grounds and Viale Enzo Ferrari, an avenue which runs through the cluster of new production and other buildings making up the Ferrari “Cittadella”.
A Museum guide will introduce visitors to the various characteristics and features of the circuit where Ferrari has done its road and competition car testing since 1972, and to the Ferrari Factory where the Prancing Horse cars are built. Visitors may not leave the bus, take photographs or video footage during the tour, however.
Visitors have to book their places on the tours through the Museum website. You must first purchase online an entrance ticket for the Museum, await confirmation and the arrival of your booking code by email before proceeding with purchasing your place on the shuttle bus tour. We advise you to check availability on the days you wish to have the tour before purchasing your ticket for the Museum.
The Museum visit and tour must take place on the same day. The Museum may be visited at any time during normal opening hours, but there are just two bus tours per day, departing 12.30 and 13.30, from outside the Museum.
The schedule may, however, be subject to last-minute changes or cancellations depending on Fiorano or Factory commitments.
