A school art trip to Cornwall will help stimulate your students love of art, through in a stay in the beautiful St. Ives.

Artists have been drawn to St. Ives since the 19th century including world-famous figures such as Barbara Hepworth and Alfred Wallis. The harbour, beaches and fisherman’s cottages are so picturesque it’s no wonder that this scenic town has inspired so many.

St. Ives is full of artist studios, galleries and institutions such the Tate St. Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum, making it the perfect location for your next school art trip in the UK.

Suggested Itinerary (Based on 3 days/2 nights)

Day 1/3



Depart school and travel to St. Ives



Time for local familiarisation on foot.

Explore the local beaches and scenery - the perfect opportunity for a sketching session!



Check in to accommodation, followed by evening meal 

Day 2/3



Visit Tate St. Ives where a variety of tours and workshops for school groups can be booked



Visit the Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden



Evening meal at accommodation

Day 3/3



Breakfast at accommodation. 

Depart St. Ives and drive to the Eden Project



Enjoy a 2 hour art and design workshop at the Eden Project before heading home
