A religious studies school trip to Krakow will give your students the opportunity to learn more about the Jewish community in Poland before and during the Nazi occupation!
Your students will learn of the atrocities committed against the city’s Jewish population during the early 20th century and how a once thriving community was almost completely destroyed when hate was allowed to take over.
On your religious studies school trip to Krakow, you’ll be able to take your students to Auschwitz. Although this will be a difficult visit for them, it will help them to understand just how dangerous intolerance and prejudice can be. And, of course, this destination offers the perfect opportunity for a cross-curricular school trip in conjunction with the history department, to give more students the opportunity to learn more about the realities of the Holocaust.
