A religious studies school trip to Krakow will give your students the opportunity to learn more about the Jewish community in Poland before and during the Nazi occupation!

Your students will learn of the atrocities committed against the city’s Jewish population during the early 20th century and how a once thriving community was almost completely destroyed when hate was allowed to take over.

On your religious studies school trip to Krakow, you’ll be able to take your students to Auschwitz. Although this will be a difficult visit for them, it will help them to understand just how dangerous intolerance and prejudice can be. And, of course, this destination offers the perfect opportunity for a cross-curricular school trip in conjunction with the history department, to give more students the opportunity to learn more about the realities of the Holocaust.

I think it's so important for children to learn about different cultures, and enabling them to go out and experience this first hand is what makes working at Halsbury so special. – Emma Gray da Silva Tour Consultant

Don't take our word for it …

I would definitely recommend working with the Halsbury Travel Group. They are absolutely amazing! Thank you, Rachel, for being so helpful in any way. The trip was organized to perfection and we had an amazing experience in Montpellier. It was our first time in Montpellier but we worked together before when we went to Rouen for 3 consecutive years and it was equally a big success! So, thank you again for all the details that you provided and for your patience with everything I requested. I am looking to go back to Montpellier next year and I can't wait to be working with you again! Merci beaucoup pour tout! — King Alfred’s Academy , October 2023
