Residential Trip to Holme Pierrepont

Halsbury Sticker

Your residential school trip to Holme Pierrepont offers your students the exciting opportunity to have a go at water sports at the National Water Sports Centre!

The National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham is the venue for Team GB’s flatwater canoe and kayak team selection, as well as a number of national and international water sports events. There is a world-class, purpose-built 700m white water course with Grade 3 white water rapids. And at the heart of the venue is the 2km regatta lake.

On your Activities Week school trip to Holme Pierrepont, your group will have the opportunity to try kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and rafting. And they’ll be able to test their courage to the max with the Water Wipeout inflatable obstacle course. Plus, a raft building exercise will help your students to improve their teamwork skills.

You’ll stay onsite at the venue’s own lakeside accommodation, so you’ll be close to all the action. And we can also add an excursion to Alton Towers – the perfect way to end this adrenaline-fuelled Activities Week school trip.
