School Residential Trip to Lee Valley
Your residential school trip to Lee Valley offers your students the opportunity to have a go at a variety of watersports at an Olympic facility!
The Lee Valley White Water Centre was built to host the canoe slalom events at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Here, your students will have the exciting opportunity to have a go at kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. They’ll also get the chance to take on the Water Wipeout course – an inflatable obstacle course on the lake. And they’ll be able to improve their teamworking skills with a raftbuilding exercise too!
Next to the Lee Valley White Water Centre is the Herts Young Mariners Base – an outdoor activity centre. On your Activities Week school trip to Lee Valley you can choose from a number of activities offered here, such as climbing, canoeing, kayaking, caving, archery, fencing, stand up paddle boarding and sailing.
We’ll tailor make your Activities Week school trip to Lee Valley to ensure it meets your group’s specific requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to try something a little different and to bond as a group. And you never know, you may even find that some of them leave with a new passion for adventure sports!
