This spectacular city is an incredible place for art students to enhance their knowledge of the history of art, as well as to develop their own skills, as it’s said to have the greatest concentration of art in the world.

Your school art trip to Florence can include visits to Uffizi Galleries, the magnificent Duomo - crowned by Brunelleschi’s dome and, of course, the Galleria dell’Accademia. While you’re in Florence on your school art trip, make sure you don’t miss the panoramic views of this breathtakingly beautiful city from Piazza Michelangelo and take some time to browse for bargains at the famous leather market.

You may also like to consider the possibility of turning this into a cross-curricular school trip, as Florence offers exciting opportunities for Italian and maths too!
