A primary languages trip to Aachen could be the perfect introduction to the German language and culture for your pupils!

The beautiful town of Aachen, with its safe, pedestrianised centre, is ideal for primary groups learning German. There’s plenty to see and do in Aachen at any time of year. Take a tour of the medieval city centre and its spectacular cathedral or visit a traditional Kaffeestuben (coffee house) for breakfast or lunch.

At Christmas time, Aachen really comes alive. Famous for its lovely Christmas markets, a school trip to Aachen will be a real festive treat for your pupils! Make sure you don’t leave without tasting Aachener Printen, the city’s Christmas delicacy that’s a little bit like gingerbread.

Travel memories are everlasting, and I love having a job where I can make school trips useful and interesting at the same time, taking groups to places that they otherwise might not get to visit. – Judit Eleod Tour Consultant

Don't take our word for it …

Great day trip which the children really enjoyed. Boulogne Old Town is lovely with lots to see and do. The boulangerie visit was excellent and really got the children listening and speaking in French. We will definitely be going again! — The Free School Norwich , May 2019
