School Primary Languages Trip to Aachen

Halsbury Sticker

A primary languages trip to Aachen could be the perfect introduction to the German language and culture for your pupils!

The beautiful town of Aachen, with its safe, pedestrianised centre, is ideal for primary groups learning German. There’s plenty to see and do in Aachen at any time of year. Take a tour of the medieval city centre and its spectacular cathedral or visit a traditional Kaffeestuben (coffee house) for breakfast or lunch.

At Christmas time, Aachen really comes alive. Famous for its lovely Christmas markets, a school trip to Aachen will be a real festive treat for your pupils! Make sure you don’t leave without tasting Aachener Printen, the city’s Christmas delicacy that’s a little bit like gingerbread.
