Regularly voted one of America’s top ski resorts, Mammoth is famous for magnificent powder and a long ski season that runs from November to June. The runs themselves are quite evenly spread in terms of ability level, which is ideal for school ski groups. So, although Mammoth has a reputation as somewhat of a Mecca for powder hounds, you’ll be surprised at the amount of suitable terrain for all levels. Mammoth is also home to one of the world’s best terrain parks. And the entire ski area (roughly 3,500 acres) is served by 28 efficient lifts.
