Your European Day of Languages Classroom Resource!

European Day of Languages is an annual celebration of the linguistic diversity of Europe. And it’s a great opportunity to inspire your students to develop their passion for languages.

This year, European Day of Languages falls on Saturday. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from holding a celebration during the week. But we thought this might be a great opportunity for you to help your students understand how they could be working on their language skills outside of the classroom!

That’s why we’ve put together this poster!

It has some great suggestions for your students to practice their languages outside of the classroom. From great little apps like Duolingo to a Chrome extension for Netflix that can help you learn more as you watch foreign TV and films, there’s plenty to keep them occupied.

Of course, YouTube is another great resource with loads of language-learning channels. We’ve left some space on the poster for you to suggest your favourite channels to your students. Some of ours include:

Comme une Française

innerFrench

Easy German

Learn German with Anja

Butterfly Spanish

The Spanish Dude
