Halsbury Travel has new owners! Literacy Capital is an investment firm with a unique charitable objective to advance the education of children in the United Kingdom by promoting and supporting the development of literacy.
One of the key ways they do this is by donating 0.9% of their net assets every year to literacy charities, like BookMark, whose aim is to get every child reading. Since their creation in 2017, Literacy Capital have donated over £3.8 million.
We’re really excited to start this new chapter with Literacy Capital, as it means that not only can we continue to help teachers to provide students with unforgettable educational experiences on school trips, we’ll also be contributing to the development of literacy in the UK.
