Sacred Heart School's Magical Music Tour!

This May half term, we successfully organised a music tour for the Sacred Heart School Choir, taking 51 students and 6 adults from London to experience the culture of Paris and the magic of Disneyland. The group stayed at the Thomas Cook Explorers Hotel, which is situated just a few minutes away from the Disneyland Resort and has a great range of facilities.

In Paris, the choir performed concerts in two fantastic venues, one at the Lormoy Castle, just outside the city, and another in the gardens of the Luxembourg Palace. Of course, they couldn’t go to Paris without seeing the iconic Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, taking a river cruise down the Seine and visiting the famous Sacre Coeur.

As well as enjoying the attractions and the atmosphere that the park has to offer, the group also took part in Disney’s new vocal and musical theatre workshop, which is conducted by a Disney professional and lasts a total of 90 minutes.

After they returned from their magical music tour experience here’s what Musical Director Ms Lorraine Neckles (Group Leader) had to say about their trip:

Plans are already underway for the school's next music tour to Salzburg in October.
