Decathlon is the place to go for the fashion-conscious. They have a massive range of brightly-coloured funky jacket and salopette combos and sometimes you can pick up both for less than £30!

If your skiers really catch the snowsport bug and their parents decide to invest in their own equipment, this Facebook Group is perfect. You’ll find pre-loved skis, boots and snowboards for sale.
It’s also worth a browse if you’re looking for racing gear like protective wear and racing suits.
Sports Direct

Sports Direct offer a huge range of ski clothing and equipment at some incredibly low prices.
They’re particularly good for ski googles and helmets which can otherwise be pricey. It’s also a good place to try for those looking to invest in their own pair of ski boots.
Mountain Warehouse
Online & instore
Mountain Warehouse do children’s outfit packages where you can get all the key items needed in one go. They also often have sales where you can pick up a jacket, pair of ski trousers, snood, hat and pair of gloves, all for around £65. It’s also the place to go for accessories like ski socks and thermals.

Instore
Keep your eyes peeled whilst doing your grocery shopping because the discount supermarkets occasionally stock some great quality kids’ ski gear in their 'Middle of Lidl' and ‘Specialbuys’ sections.
You can check their websites to see what’s available but what they have when you go into store is really down to luck.

This discount store can be a little hit-and-miss for skiwear, but if you get lucky you can nab some top-quality ski gear for bargain prices. Apparently, the best time to shop is October or November when new stock comes in.
WhoSki.com

WhoSki.com is a new online peer-to-peer marketplace where you can buy and sell second-hand ski gear.
This keeps ski and snowboard clothing (which is often made of plastic) out of landfill. What’s more, 25% of the revenue from each sale is donated to teenage mental health charity, stem4.
