School The Cold War Trips

Although the ideological confrontation between the Soviet Union and NATO may not have involved direct conflict the Cold War, as it came to be known, was fought by all other available means. Using economic pressure supported by huge propaganda efforts both power blocks fought for dominance. In Berlin students can see for themselves the remains of the Berlin Wall, visit the interactive DDR Museum or take a guided tour of the Stasi Prison by one of its’ former inmates. From Moscow's Red Square to the Memorial to the victims of Communism in Prague the evidence of the ideologies which divided the world for almost half a century remains.
