The Mathematikum is a museum, located in Gießen, Germany, just North of Frankfurt, which offers a huge variety of mathematical hands-on exhibits. It opened its doors in November 2002. Since then, more than 500,000 visitors have been there. Check out the fun side of mathematics through more than 100 interactive exhibits on three floors. How can a bridge be contructed not using any nails, glue, ropes or other tools? How is rolling a dice related to Mozart's compositions?
All the exhibits and activities are labeled in German and English, and they also have a free English folder called "hands-on mathematics" at the entrance.
