NEW attraction for 2008 WW1 tours “The platoon experience”
The new platoon expereince in where students spend a day in the life of an
Australian soldier, participating in the Tyne Cot attack of 4 October 1917. To have as
close as possible experience, they are fully equipped with uniform, package and rifle.
With this project, the Passchendaele museum is the first one to introduce the living history
concept in Flemish education. Platoon Experience is a unique and thrilling experience for
