This week is National School Sport Week , encouraging pupils to take part in more PE and school sport. This year’s theme looks ahead to the Olympics in Rio , which it is hoped will inspire more youngsters to get involved in sport.
The initiative, organised by the Youth Sport Trust is the biggest celebration of school sport in the UK. The first event of its kind was held in 2008 and millions of children in schools all over the country have since taken part.
What better way to encourage students to get involved in school sport than by offering an exciting school sports tour ? Preparing to travel abroad with their sport will give your students clear direction and focus.
Plus, the opportunity to play their sport abroad, perhaps in an international tournament , or taking on local opposition , is a really exciting opportunity for young people and one they are unlikely to forget.
