Our priority is to ensure the health and safety of your group on your school sports tour. Here's how we do that.

Your group’s health and safety is our number one priority.
We’re a member of the School Travel Forum – a body of leading school tour operators who aim to promote good practice and safety in school travel.
As a full member, we adhere to a rigorous code of practice and safety management standards. This is externally verified each year by Argent, the UK’s leading health and safety consultancy specialising in travel.

Safety Management System
We’ve developed our own Safety Management System to ensure that all reasonable measures are taken to reassure you of a high level of safety on your tour.
Our team have taken on the responsibility to apply, monitor and constantly improve our Safety Management System.
They do this by:
•Facilitating and promoting a positive health and safety culture
•Providing safe transport and accommodation
•Assessing the risks associated with activities
•Maintaining appropriate control measures
•Maintaining effective communication with you
•Providing adequate financial and human resources to implement the health and safety policy
•Ensuring all staff are able to apply the Safety Management System
•Regularly reviewing and updating the Safety Management System as appropriate

Accommodation
Your accommodation will meet the following guidelines:
•Complies with local fire and safety legislation
•Is contracted by our own trained staff, or reputable agents
•Receives a standard audit and risk assessment prior to use
•Receives a supplementary audit if used five times or more in one year

Transport
Whether you choose to travel by coach, ferry or air, you can be sure that the relevant safety checks have been implemented:
Coaches
British coaches
We only work with reputable coach companies that hold a valid Operator Licence.
To get this, coach operators have to satisfy the requirements of professional competence and make sure all their vehicles are properly maintained.
All British coach travel is regulated by the Department for Transport and all the coaches we use are subject to a standard coach audit.
Foreign coaches
All foreign coaches used by us conform to all local, national and international standards.
Ferries and Eurotunnel
Both ferries and the Eurotunnel are nationally regulated. We also hold regular meetings with all the companies we work with.
One of the most important areas covered in these meetings is on-board safety and security, so if you do have any questions, please just ask!
Flights
All flights from the UK are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, which has very strict safety criteria. We hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority, which means we’re able to operate both individual and group tours by air. Our ATOL number is 5079.
