The Calcutta Cup is the oldest of several trophies which are awarded during the Six Nations - it was first contested in 1879!
England have, to date, won the Calcutta Cup more frequently than Scotland.
The trophy itself is really beautiful - crafted in India, it is decorated with cobras as handles, and an elephant crowning the top.
The Calcutta Cup matches take place during the Six Nations and alternate between Twickenham and Murrayfield.
If your students are inspired by the Six Nations, why not fuel their passion for rugby with a school rugby tour?
