Resort Information
Fancy skiing in two different countries? On a school ski trip to Sella Nevea, you’ll have the opportunity to ski in both Italy and Slovenia! In the Julian Alps, the Kanin-Sella Nevea ski resort straddles the border between Italy and Slovenia. The resort encompasses the slopes of Mt. Kanin and the Sella Nevea pass. Really popular with local skiers from Italy, Slovenia and nearby Austria, Sella Nevea is still relatively ‘under the radar’ when it comes to British skiers. As well as uncrowded slopes, Sella Nevea is also known for its excellent snow record – the ski season here lasts from November until May!

Skiing Information
If your school ski group consists mainly of beginners and intermediates, then Sella Nevea is the perfect choice for your school ski trip. A medium-sized ski resort, Sella Nevea offers a whopping 731m vertical descent over 11 pistes. Bovec, on the Slovenian side, is one of that country’s largest winter sports resorts and boasts fantastic sunshine. Sella Nevea, on the other hand, gets less of the sun, but does tend to keep the snow slightly better for this. So this really is a resort where all bases are covered, weather-wise!
