Resort Information
The attractive and unspoilt village of Bramberg am Wildkogel is a wonderful setting for a magical school ski tour in Austria and is a well-kept secret amongst those in the know! Bramberg is a real-life Emerald City…well, village, as it is the home of Europe’s only natural Emerald deposits. This bustling village has plenty of shops and cafes to enjoy while not on the slopes. It's a popular destination for sledging and there are plenty of places in town where you can rent sledges. You'll also see plenty of horse-drawn sleighs doing circuits of the village!
Skiing Information
There is 64km of skiable piste and the skiing is nicely varied, with good beginner slopes at high altitude at the top of the gondola, and some great gentle progression slopes to move on to. There are also some breathtaking reds and blacks for the more advanced. In addition, Bramberg am Wildkogel is only 20 minutes from either the Kitzbuhel ski area with 170km of fabulous pistes or the Zillertal ski arena, one of Austria’s largest ski areas, with over 649km of piste. For a small supplement, our groups can upgrade their lift pass to include either areas.
The resort was excellent.
