Your school ski trip to Andorra will be fun, relaxed and great value for money!
Andorra is a tiny principality in the heart of the Pyrenees, sandwiched between France and Spain. But don’t let its diminutive size fool you - Andorra has a huge amount of character.
Andorra is so small that it takes just over an hour to drive from one border to the other. This is great news for your school ski trip as the country’s bustling capital, Andorra-la-Vella, will always be within easy reach. Here you’ll soak up some of the culture, learn about Andorra’s fascinating history, and enjoy some tax-free shopping!
Worried Andorra might be too small to offer decent skiing? Don’t be. The country’s two main ski areas, Grandvalira and Vallnord, offer more than 300km of skiing over 65 summits! The Andorrans have also recently invested heavily in their infrastructure, so you’ll enjoy modern lifts and other state-of-the-art facilities.
The skiing here tends to be best suited to beginners and intermediates, with a number of excellent ski schools. And the snow is very reliable here too.
Plus, your accommodation will either be piste-side or centrally located in the resort, which is a convenience not all resorts in the Alps are able to offer. And you’ll be warmly welcomed by your friendly Andorran hosts.
