Will Brexit Affect My School Ski Trip?
In short, no. At least, certainly not in the short term. We expect all school ski trips to proceed as normal.
Actually, if you are in the process of planning a school ski trip, now’s a great time to book. We’re able to guarantee your current quote if you book your school ski trip by 31st July*.
Not able to book by 31st July? Your current quote will expire by this date, as per normal. Unfortunately, due to the current climate we’re simply not able to guarantee prices over the long summer break. We will reassess your quote when you get back to school in September and this will be subject to exchange rates at the time.
So, basically, if you are in a position to book your school ski trip by 31st July, we would strongly advise that you do!
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
For further reassurance on travelling in Europe at the moment, please see the ABTA statement on the EU referendum:
The Prime Minister has stated that there will be no initial change in the way people travel. Travellers are free to move between the UK and the EU as they were yesterday, European Health Insurance Cards remain valid and regulations such as Air Passenger Rights remain in place. People due to travel this summer will see little changes to their holiday. Once the UK formally notifies the EU of its intention to leave, the remaining Member States will have up to two years to offer the UK a deal for a future trading relationship and during this period holidaymakers will not see any immediate changes.
*i.e. trips for which deposits have been received, along with completed booking forms, and a completed passenger names list if travelling by air.
