Take a German school trip to the Black Forest and watch your students fall in love with Germany!
Germany’s Black Forest has always been a popular destination for school trips and language tours. The region borders both France and Switzerland and is an area of beautiful forests with clear lakes and rolling hills.
This area of Germany is famous for its local crafts, such as cuckoo clocks, glass blowing and cakes, so there’s lots to keep your students entertained and give them a glimpse into the traditional side of Germany, as well as offering them plenty of opportunity to practise their German language skills. You'll be able to visit Freiburg, safe, student-friendly city which can be explored on foot. And Strasbourg and the European Parliament are also close. You could even choose to visit the spectacular Rhine Falls in Switzerland, or spend the day at Europapark theme park!
