The Nazis & the Holocaust School Trip to Amsterdam & Arnhem

A history school trip to the WW2 battlefields in the Netherlands evokes a powerful picture of the time and ‘recounts’ events via personal accounts that will appeal directly to your students, as they’ll be able to identify with them!

Aside from the academic benefits of learning more about the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, this trip will also help your students to understand the real meaning of freedom, democracy and human rights.

Plus, your students will learn more about both the Allied and Nazi experience of the combat in Arnhem and Oosterbeek.

Furthermore, ‘Heavenly Haarlem’ – the ‘northern city with southern flamboyancy’ – has an extremely central location: the bulb fields, the windmills of Zaanse Schans and the city of Amsterdam are all within easy reach. You can also enjoy a meal and meet friends from all over the world in the friendly brown cafe ‘The Shuffle’. Stayokay Haarlem is centrally located near the connecting road to the beach, the woods, the city centre of Haarlem and Amsterdam.
