School Christmas Markets Trip to Strasbourg

Looking for a way to inspire your French students? A school trip to Strasbourg’s Christmas markets is a festive trip that’s certain to get them talking!

Traditionally the bridge between France and Germany, Strasbourg is where the two cultures collide, so it’s no wonder the Christmas markets here are some of the oldest and largest in France.

With its beautiful Gothic cathedral, Strasbourg is also one of the most beautiful settings for a Christmas market. And when you’ve finished perusing the market stalls, you can also enjoy a tour of the city by boat, visit a gingerbread factory or even cross the border into Germany for a bite to eat and a taste of a German Christmas.

I cannot think of any improvement to suggest. Would like to mention how brilliant your staff have been throughout all the planning period. They always listened and tried to find a solution to all our requests even though some of them were made at a very late stage and all communication was excellent. We are delighted and will definitely book out next trip with Halsbury.
